It feels like we are still pretty low after that last lust spell, so we won’t be able to use it for much until it has a chance to recharge.

Militarily, we are doing fine, minion numbers have recovered to the point where we could deploy them to the battlefield.
Our internal economy is still getting off the ground, but having another victory will do more to accelerate it, then simply waiting.
Which you can ignore safely for now. In terms of material, we are still deeply in the hole for gold, but raw materials for building are stable.
Maybe our readers have a few ideas
Mercenary work is less useful when we are at war with the land we inhabit.
On the other hand, we are turning a profit with our brothel in Steam Lake Village. Eventually we will get back into the black, if we don’t spend much gold.
With the sudden void of Bleu’s troops and influence, we’ve managed to even recruit non-followers into new employees.
We are becoming popular enough that it should be viable to expand soon, it was a good investment.
We are already working Elgor’s science team hard enough with two research options at once. I don’t want to work him even harder with more work.
Unless we move minions to supplement his staff even further, or build some specialized facilities. I’ll add it to our future plans.
It’s fine for now, we haven’t had a chance to deploy our gunners yet. We still have that to surprise them with.

Perhaps we could improve Speere into a hero unit of his own, have him inherent some of Sapphire’s magical potency. Another hero unit is never bad, and with a second caster, we could have some much-needed utility on our minion heroes.

In the war room, our little team found Ceres mapping out distances between locales of strategic importance and getting Lupin to estimate the time in transit, and how many mushminions he could deploy at each location. Thankfully we have multiple copies of all our maps.
Oh, a war meeting! So cool! Which of their pieces is mine? Do I need to roll my 20 sided dice to move them or something?
Come on Mordred, this isn’t a board game. Just, just pay attention and try to remember what you hear.
Ceres, what do you have for us?
With a quick flick of her wrist, Ceres unrolls a map that carries subterranean information onto the table. If our readers can recall, we found a set of extensive artificial tunnels that connects this isle together. The working intelligence we have suggests that Bleu is utilizing these tunnels to smuggle artifacts across the isle without attracting attention.
Is our plan still to use the tunnels to infiltrate the city with Steve and his team of mushies?
Steve had a chance to take a look, and he found signs of recent use. Since this is Bleu’s tunnels, and because it still sees use, we should assume that the area underneath Gouda is well fortified.
Not to mention that large dude with the priest, imagine how easily he could reap death in those tight corridors. At least, I could, so we should assume their spellswords can do the same.
I would have had the tunnels set to collapse if the defense were overrun, so I don’t think we should rely on them to take Gouda. Instead, we can leave them for our infiltration experts to sneak through when we begin the siege.
At least we should have eyes down there, in case Bleu tries to leave with her troops and continue to fight as a guerrilla force for years to come.
Man this is getting complicated. If we take the area of Gouda that the tunnels connect to, couldn’t we use the tunnels to pipe reinforcements directly into gouda without having to risk mushies getting picked off enroute?
Ceres nods at this and pulls up another map for our team to consider.
We have to assume that whatever Bleu is trying to move around needs to be stored in Gouda at some point. In that case, in order to keep this operation reasonably secret, the tunnel would have to connect to some sort of warehouse, or maybe a full-on vault.
Not that it matters, while securing the tunnels would allow us to safely send a small stream of mushies into gouda directly, it’s still tight enough that we can’t send a full army of mushies that way.
I doubt Bleu would trust any civilian company to store her artifacts, so it has to go to one of her Guild Coffer. So it’ll be quite difficult to claim that building.
In terms of other entrances, Gouda had two main gates in its outer wall.
We should have both gates under siege. Even if it’s just a distraction, having bigshrooms threatening to pop the gates open will force them to present at least a moderate force to protect them. It might even be a chance to take down a hero unit!
Well at the least we can expect the ninja to avoid fighting on the walls. She’ll likely try to use the tunnels to sneak out to attack our command core during the siege right?
